After my first year of teaching and becoming acquainted with the school system, I definitely see a need for me to go back to school and further my own education. My goal is to get a Master's degree before I am 39 years old.
This will help me to excel to new levels in my teaching career. Knowing that there are so many possibilities for different subjects for me to teach as well as possibly becoming an Assistant Principal does appeal to me greatly. I am going to see if the district that I work for offers a mentoring or job shadowing program for aspiring AP's.
I have also always enjoyed sports so another goal of mine is to become a coach. I enjoy volleyball and/or basketball so if this is an option for me in the next couple of years, I would definitely take it!
But currently, my options are open and I am just enjoying all that teaching has to offer!
